<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimmer capable of light control of a ball-shaped fluorescent lamp with excellent operability in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the dimmer for a ball-shaped fluorescent lamp composed of a variable resistor with a switch equipped with a switch part and a volume part, a triac as well as a bidirectional trigger diode, and a capacitor, the variable resistor with the switch has its resistance value lowest and the lamp is lit most brightly when the switch is put on at the volume part, and it is so structured that a resistance value gets increased according to a rotating or a sliding movement of the volume part, and brightness of the lamp is gradually lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
