COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND SPREAD CODE ASSIGNMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, a communication terminal, and a spread code assignment method capable of preventing the reception quality from being deteriorated on the occurrence of leakage of I and Q components and ensuring a sufficient receptible range even without the use of a large power amplifier.

SOLUTION: A code control section 130 stores in advance a prescribed spread code assigned on the basis of a CM value being a parameter having a correlation with the magnitude of the capacity obtained for an amplifier among spread codes selected from a code tree different from a code tree of spread codes in the case of spread processing by a spread section 126 of a DPDCH transmission section 135. When the control section 130 carries out transmission by using the HS-DPCCH on the basis of HS-DPCCH information being a signal denoting transmission ON or transmission OFF through the HS-DPCCH, the code control section 130 instructs a spread section 131 to execute the spread processing by using the stored spread code, and when the control section 130 carries out transmission by using no HS-DPCCH, the code control section 130 gives no instruction to the spread section 131.
