<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct offset correction by exactly detecting a current offset amount including a non-linear characteristic and a temperature drift of a current detector, and an offset amount generated at an output voltage, and to suppress the generation of a torque ripple and a speed ripple of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The control device controls a power converter 2 so that a current detection value fed to the motor 3 from a semiconductor power converter 2 coincides with a current command value. The control device comprises: a coordinate conversion means 13 that separates the current detection value of the motor 3 to a component parallel with the magnetic flux of the motor 3 and a component orthogonal to the magnetic flux; an offset operation means 15 that operates the offset component of the current detection value on the basis of an output of the coordinate conversion means 13 and an output voltage phase angle of the power converter 2; and a current detection value correction means 17 that corrects the current detection value by using the offset component.
