PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily select a FAX document at a paper ejection destination in a printer having a FAX function. SOLUTION: When received print data is FAX data, a sending source telephone number is acquired (S100 and S110), when the sending source telephone number is a preregistered target telephone number, a corresponding usage color is used and the FAX data is converted and printed so as to be print data with a marked image for FAX attached thereto (S120 and S130), and when it is not FAX data and when the sending source telephone number is not a target telephone number, normal printing is carried out (S140). Namely, since usage colors such as blue and red are used to print FAX data in which the sending source telephone number is a target telephone number, it is possible to comparatively easily select the FAX document even when documents printed by using a copying function and a printing function are mixed with the FAX document in a paper ejection opening.
