PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control composition having excellent efficiency for pest control. SOLUTION: This pest control composition is characterized by containing (1) a pyrimidine compound, for example, represented by formula (I-1) or a 1,2,4-thiadiazole compound, for example, represented by formula (II-1) and (2) (E)-4,5-dihydro-6-methyl-4-(3-pyridylmethyleneamino)-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one as active ingredients.
