PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial wood processed product capable of keeping antibacterial properties even if used over a long period of time and capable of being manufactured easily, and an antibacterial facing body using it. SOLUTION: A blank plate material 7 with a plate thickness t<SB>0</SB>is cut from a wood having antibacterial properties, for example, Japanese cypress and false arborvitae, and compression-molded under a high temperature and high pressure steam environment using a cavity mold 8 and a core mold 9 to form the shape of a front cover 3A with a wall thickness (t) (t<t<SB>0</SB>).
