<p>Drying plant for harvesting goods includes superposed, staggered rows of drying drums which co-operate with each other to convey the goods through the plant the upper row of the drums being perforated and heated to a temp. from 150-350 degrees C. Between each pair of the lower row of drums there is provided a blower pipe ejecting preheated air upwardly into the space between the drums. Drums may be adjustable to vary the pressure exerted on the goods which are conveyed between the drums. Pre-heated air is supplied from a blower provided with burners.</p> |
