<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting apparatus capable of projecting a comparatively dark image having a high contrast ratio and high uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: The projecting apparatus includes an illumination system, a projection lens, a reflective light valve, a 1st beam breaker and a 2nd beam breaker, and light beam is emitted from the illumination system, and both of the projection lens and the reflective light valve are disposed on the transmission path of the light beam, and the reflective light valve is disposed between the illumination system and the projection lens. The 1st beam breaker and the 2nd beam breaker are cut into the transmission path of the light beam from different directions to block a part of the light beam, and the other parts of the light beam pass through the 1st beam breaker and the 2nd beam breaker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
