PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver for efficiently realizing a special reproduction function such as high-speed reproduction. SOLUTION: In this invention, special reproduction such as high-speed reproduction is easily made, for example, by counting the number of input TS (transport stream) packets from a program start, recording a count number of a TS packet where an I picture included in program data is started and a count number of a TS packet when the I picture ends are recorded as a management file, and controlling reproduction on the basis of the management file at the time of reproduction.
