PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for forming the shape of the peak of a peaked-cap to form a cap having a curvature agreeable to the customer. SOLUTION: The distance between both ends of a peak of a peaked cap is widened or narrowed to change the curvature of the peak by fixing both ends of the peak, pressing the top of the peak of the cap entirely with a rubber band extended between the fixed parts and sliding the fixed parts. Since the force applied to both ends has laterally uniform structure, a uniform force can be applied to the peak to enable the increase or decrease of the curvature to a level agreeable to the customer without breaking the peak. The fixed ends are fixed and the peak is held in the state for a long period or steam is applied to the peak using the tool to form a permanent curvature of the peak agreeable to the customer.
