PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which prevents an ejection port from being clogged by dust present in ink, and hardly causes non ejection due to a rise in a head temperature even when ejection is carried out continuously. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head has a substrate 8A which is equipped at least with ejection ports 6 from which the ink is ejected, liquid channels 2 which communicate with the ejection ports 6, an ink supply port 3 which communicates with the liquid channels 2, heaters 11 which generate an energy so as to make the ink in the liquid channels 2 ejected from the ejection ports 6, and supply port filters 1 formed on an ink feeding course which leads to the liquid channels 2 from the ink supply port 3. The supply port filter 1 can pass the ink in a thickness direction of the substrate 8A. Moreover, the supply port filter 1 is composed of a plurality of through holes 5 smaller in cross section than the ejection port 6. A thickness of the substrate 8A of a region where the heater 11 is set is larger than a thickness of the substrate 8A of a region where the supply port filter 1 is set. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
