<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window device with the nipping detecting function, capable of optimizing a starting cancel period in response to the size of looseness appearing in a driving system of a window. <P>SOLUTION: An MCU 8 determines whether or not there is looseness of a predetermined value or more in the driving system including a motor 2 and a window driving mechanism 3 on the basis of the output ratio of the motor 2, and sets finish time of the starting cancel period by adding predetermined additional time to this reference with peak detecting time of a motor rotating speed as the reference when determining that there is the looseness of the predetermined value or more, and sets time when a rate of change of the motor rotating speed reaches the predetermined value or when a rate of change of the motor input ratio reaches the predetermined value, as the finish time of the starting cancel period, when determining that there is no looseness of the predetermined value or more in the driving system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
