<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track ball device for mounting in the input operation parts of various electronic devices and enabling a variety of input operations through predetermined operations on a ball, the track ball device providing a clearer click feel via a ball from a push switch disposed below the ball. <P>SOLUTION: The track ball device comprises a ball 30 made of polyether-based urethane resin and having a hardness of as high as JISK7311 JISA 80-99. Since the clicking push switch 25 is actuated via the ball 30, the rate at which the ball 30 absorbs the click feel provided by the push switch 25 is reduced and the feel of a pushing operation is fully conveyed via the ball 30 to an operating finger or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
