PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush holder structure capable of elongating and stabilizing the service life of a brush even at high-speed rotation by restraining the vibration of a brush holder for a commutator motor. SOLUTION: This brush holder constituted of a resin-molded retainer and a brush box formed of a brass plate or the like is constructed by bringing a protrusion formed on the brush box into pressure contact with a groove provided in the retainer. This can facilitate the complete fixing of the brush box and the retainer, thus retaining the brush box from vibrating in the rotational direction of the commutator motor of the brush box, and elongating and stabilizing the service life of a brush in the commutator motor even at high-speed rotation.
