PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient video and sound reproducing device which is excellent in assembling property and portability, is made to be thin and light, is used in a compact shape both in reproducing video and sound and reproducing sound in response to the usage scene of a viewer, does not deteriorate acoustic performance, and does not require much installation place. SOLUTION: The device includes a monitor case part 1 having a monitor display part 2 and a monitor casing part 1 on the rear surface of the part 2; and a speaker case 9 enclosing a speaker part 8 which is arranged in the monitor casing part 1 via a rotation holding part 11. The speaker case 9 is held so as to be rotatable between a posture where the opening part 10 of the speaker case 9 is directed to a certain surface of the monitor display parts 2 in the monitor casing part 1 and a posture where the opening part 10 is directed to a certain surface of the reproducing means 3.
