PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in prior arts and to provide a wireless communication device capable of increasing transmission rate while restraining expansion of a hardware scale. SOLUTION: A software wireless device comprises multiple orthogonal modulation/demodulation units 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d; a baseband processor 23; multiple buses 22 for connecting the orthogonal modulation/demodulation units to the baseband processor; an antenna unit 11 for sending/receiving wireless signals; a communication control unit 24 for managing softwares in the orthogonal modulation/demodulation units and the baseband processor, and controlling the orthogonal modulation/demodulation units and the baseband processor. The communication control unit allocates the bus to be used in accordance with a modulation method, and the orthogonal modulation/demodulation units and the baseband processor switch the bus to be used in accordance with an instruction from the communication control unit.
