PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter unit for water service or the like capable of performing not only position adjustment to each connection pipe but also position adjustment of the whole unit, compacting the whole unit, and performing easily arrangement of the unit utilizing effectively the narrow pipe shaft inside and a piping work in the pipe shaft, and having excellent economic efficiency. SOLUTION: In this meter unit 1, support mechanisms 8, 9 are provided respectively on meter holding members 4, 5 disposed on the primary side and on the secondary side, and a meter body M of a meter for water service or the like is provided detachably on the support mechanisms 8, 9. A set plate 7 is disposed on the under surfaces of the meter holding members 4, 5 through bolt members 6. In the meter unit, the set plate 7 is slidingly-fitted movably into a guide groove 3 extending in the longitudinal direction formed on a lengthy base member 2 having a hollow part, to thereby enable position adjustment of the meter holding members 4, 5.
