PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device, a recording method and a recording program for continuing an access processing to a recording medium as long as possible even when the remaining amount of power is small. SOLUTION: A buffer memory 105 temporarily stores input information data. A memory controller 104 reads the information data from the buffer memory 105 according to the storage of the predetermined amount of information data into the buffer memory 105, starts a recording processing to an optical disk 108, and stops the recording processing of the information data to the optical disk 108 by stopping the reading of the information data when the information data recorded in the buffer memory 105 becomes a specific amount smaller than a predetermined amount. A voltage detection part 113 detects the remaining capacity of a battery 112.
