PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of differential volumes by using differential snapshots and volume snapshots in combination. SOLUTION: Pluralities of application servers for providing applications comprising a plurality of programs, first volumes for storing data used by the programs, and second volumes paired to store replicas of the first volumes are provided. Any one of the plurality of programs is specified and the first volume used by the specified program is identified (S11), all the second volumes paired with the first volume are extracted (S14 to S17), and the extracted first volume and second volumes are collected for the program (S18).
