PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent resonance generated in a can of a motor-operated valve. SOLUTION: The motor-operated valve 1 is provided with a valve body 10 having a valve seat 12 and a valve chamber 14, and a valve element 30 is arranged in the valve chamber 14. A valve rod 40 for operating the valve element 30 is sealed by a bellows 50. A screw rod 70 is screwed into a guide member 60, and converts rotational movement to linear movement. An electric motor and a gear reducer are mounted in the cylindrical can 200 made of metal, and are sealed in the can by a plate 90 and a seal member 80. A plurality of ribs 230 extending to the radial directions from the center are formed on a disk shaped upper surface 220 of the can 200. Rigidity of the upper surface 220 is improved by the rib 230, and resonance by sympathetic vibration is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
