PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new organic compound having a fluorine-containing organic group and a polyacetylene in the same molecule, further having a group selected from oxygen atom, an ester group, an amide group, and a phosphorus-containing group, capable of being utilized in fields of a wide range, and having good surfactant power, and the like. SOLUTION: The compound comprises a fluorine-containing polyacetylene derivative expressed by the formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>-(C≡C)<SB>n</SB>-R<SP>2</SP>-X-R<SP>3</SP>(R<SP>1</SP>is a fluorine-containing organic group; R<SP>2</SP>is an organic group; R<SP>3</SP>is H or an organic group; X is O, an ester bond, an amide bond or a phosphorus atom-containing group; and (n) is an integer of 2 to 6).
