PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control composition having excellent efficiency for pest control. SOLUTION: This pest control composition is characterized by containing (1) a pyrimidine compound represented by formula (I) or a 1,2,4-thiadiazole compound represented by formula (II) and (2) (S)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (Z)-(1R, 3R)-3-(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-enyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate, and (R)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (Z)-(1S, 3S)-3-(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-enyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate as active ingredients.
