PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which has been prevented from the loss of consumables. SOLUTION: For the image formation device which is started by inputting a print instructing information and performs a printing job in an engine section, a control section 20 makes the engine section stopped when the print instructing information has not been input even after a lapse of designated time. If the stand-by time is established shorter than the interval of inputting the print instruction, since the photo-conductors and driving members of the engine section under being made driven during the period of waiting for the print instructing information can be stopped, a useless driving time is saved, and the loss of the photo-conductors and driving members can be prevented.
