PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed wooden product which can improve its strength and is molded easily and a method for producing the compressed wooden product. SOLUTION: After an outer member of wood is compressed in a prescribed shape, an inner member which has an outer side in a shape corresponding to the inner side of the compressed outer member, makes a plurality of protrusions protrude from the outer side, and is formed from a substance having strength higher than that of the outer member is laid on the outer member to overlap each other, the protrusions are pushed into the outer member, and the outer and inner members are compressed again to make the inner side of the outer member adhere to the outer side of the inner member.
