PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blasting method of a pipe material and a bag body covering a pipe member, efficiently performing the blasting work for a pipe member by solving the problem of the sand blast method. SOLUTION: A blast medium 26 like a sponge piece including blasting material 22 is used as a blast medium used in blasting work. At the time of blasting work, first a vent pipe 45 of a suppression chamber 70 is enclosed with a bag body 44 with double zippers 47, 47 opened along the axial direction of the vent pipe 45. Subsequently, A nozzle 38 for projecting the blast medium 26 is inserted in an opening part opened by opening the double zippers 47, 47 to project the blast medium on the peripheral surface of the vent pipe 45.
