PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulation type hair dryer eliminating discomfort and air contamination by a hot air. SOLUTION: This hair dryer is provided with a cylindrical body 1 having an outlet 10 at its front end, an air fan 12 provided in the interior of the body 1, a motor 13 driving the fan 12, and a heater 14 provided between the outlet 10 and the fan 12; and heats the air sent by the rotation of the fan 12 by the heater 14 and exhausts it from the outlet 10. The body 1, in its circumference, is provided with a cylindrical body 2 having an inside diameter d2 larger than the outside diameter d1 of the body 1 to form an air suction path 8 between the body 1 and the cylindrical body 2, and the air exhausted by the outlet 1 and reflected to the human body 5 is returned to the interior of the body 1 from a suction port 1b provided in the rear end of the body 1 via the air suction path 8.
