PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molding machine capable of increasing the number of the pockets of a heating station without making the blow molding machine large sized in the case of the blow molding of a PET bottle or the like and enabling high speed molding. SOLUTION: The blow molding machine is equipped with a rotary table type heating station 1, a blow station 2 and transfer tables 3a, 3b and 3c for delivering or receiving a preform P with respect to the respective stations 1 and 2 and provided with a cam type following transfer mechanism for transforming the preform P so as to follow the rotary motion of the station for receiving or delivering the preform P with respect to the transfer tables 3a, 3b and 3c by composite motion of at least two horizontal rotary motions and a preform reversing transfer device 4 having a cam type reversal mechanism for reversing the preform P up and down.
