The buffer (33) has a buffer head (36) axially displaceable and slipped over a buffer stem (37). A buffer spring is set between stem and head in interior space of buffer head. The buffer head is fixed by locking lugs against being pulled off the buffer stem. The interior space in buffer head surrounded by locking lug is provided with an axial projection engaging with anti-rotation elements on buffer stem.
