This camshaft bearing arrangement has the engine cylinder head (10) with its end walls (14,16) provided with integrated cam shaft bearing halves (42,44). The corresponding upper bearing halves (46,48) are integrated into the end walls (26,28) of the valve cover (24). The camshaft (22) is further supported in the center by camshaft bearings (36,38) formed in one piece with the valve cover (24) with bearing caps (56,58) mounted in place by bolts (54). |
