The turbine distributor part (110) includes outer (104) and inner platform segments in between which multiple hollow blades are provided and supplied with cooling air. A cap (132) covers the base portion of the outer platform segment to define a chamber that communicates with the interior of the blades via communication openings. Air inlets are provided in the cap to allow the chamber to be supplied with cooling air. An independent claim is included for a turbine engine.
