<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for treating a waste gas, which is capable of satisfictorily neutralizing, by prolonging the retention time of a chemical to make the blowing chemical sufficiently porous in the neutralization of an acidic gas in the waste gas. SOLUTION: The chemical for neutralizing the acidic gas in the waste gas is introduced into the waste gas and simultaneously dust and/or reaction product is treated with a dust collecting means 2. The chemical is introduced into one of the upstream side and the downstream side of the collecting means or into detours 9 provided one of the upstream side and the downstream side of the dust collecting means 2 or both sides.</p> |
