The switch has an oscillator with a self-compensated feedback network and an oscillator amplifier. The network has a bifilar inductor (20) with windings (22,24), where the windings are formed from multiple strands having different number of strand wires. The strand wires of the windings exhibit different thickness. The strand wire of the inductor exhibits a larger cross section than the strand wires of the other inductor.
