The roller has tubular claddings that form an upper surface of the roller. A closed core (13) is provided between an outer tubular cladding and an inner tubular cladding and the core is made from expanded material e.g. metal foam, where the core is designed in a tubular shape. The inner tubular cladding is positioned concentric to the inner tubular cladding, and slots are integrated into the core.
