<p>A medical diagnostics tool has a tendon reflex hammer comprising a percussive head <B>2</B> adjacent an end of a shaft <B>1</B>, the tool includes a generating device, which may be in the form of a piezoelectric device, adapted to generate at least one acoustic tone having a predetermined frequency. The generating device may be located in the shaft <B>1</B>. The generating device may be adapted to generate a vibration at a plurality of frequencies and have on-off switches <B>10</B>, <B>11</B>, <B>13</B>, <B>14</B> for each frequency. There may also be an indicator light <B>12</B> to indicate that a frequency is being generated. The indicator light may be a light emitting diode and the tool may have a battery located in the shaft. The shaft may be telescopic and the tool may connect to further implements such as an ophthalmoscope or a peak flow meter.</p> |
