<p>The drive arrangement is for an axial piston machine, especially an axial piston pump, with a driven drive shaft (2) to which is connected a component a component bearing on the pump piston so that with rotation of the component the piston executes a reciprocating movement. The aforesaid component is an axially symmetrical hollow body (5) with a base (6) from which extends at an angle (alpha ) a conical side wall (7), upon the inner surface of which bears the pump piston (8-10).
