The device has a segment body including supply channels coupled to a source of pressurizing medium. The body is arranged at a periphery of a cylinder and the channels are coupled with control valves for the supply of the medium. A gap (8) is provided between the body and the cylinder. An inlet opening of a flow channel of the cylinder is positioned with the supply channel in a congruent arrangement, during the supply of the medium.
