The device has a knob (1) connected with a cover for removing by hand. Retaining units (2,3) are provided for keeping of a cooking cutlery e.g. soup ladle. A collecting unit is provided at the lower side of the device and connected with the top side of a food container cover, catches the dripping off food which is capable of flowing. The retaining unit (3) lies with its longitudinal opening, in the direction of the collecting unit.
