The image transmitting device includes an image converter which performs the conversion of an input image signal into predetermined image data. The compressed image data are stored in an image memory. A transmitter converts one of the compressed image data and the previously-stored image data in the image memory into a radio signal, and sends out the converted radio signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an image communication method; (b) and a voice and data communication procedure.
