The racking has storage racks (80) and storage lanes (70) arranged between the racks. Rack vehicles (60) for loading and unloading the racks are movable on the storage lanes. Picking places (81) with loading assistances are provided in the racks for picking up of requested goods stacking using the rack vehicles. A computer device counts the space optimized goods stack, and the loading assistance includes three-sided pickup tray. An independent claim is also included for a method for storage and pick up of goods on a load carrier.
