Prestressed concrete element , its manufacturing method, and hoop reinforcement tube for the manufacturing of a prestressed concrete element

The unit has a cylindrical prestressing reinforcement (12) surrounded by concrete (14). A hooping tube (16) at each end (12E) of the reinforcement surrounds a cylindrical part (12A) of the reinforcement. A concrete part (14A) is presented between the tube and reinforcement. The cylindrical part has a length (L16) equal to 5 percentage of length of transmission of the pre-stressing force between the reinforcement and concrete. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pre-stressed concrete unit.
