Concrete construction element with internal tensile stays of a flexible alkali resistant material

A system of concrete construction elements, especially with narrow profiles, has an inner support structure of alkali resistant tensile stays (4) strung between support plates (3) fitted into the concrete. The stays can be normal or angled to the plates and with their density matched to the loading requirements of the concrete. The system also enables steel reinforcing to be applied in complex structures.
