<p>A method for removing large myomes, especially from the walls of the womb, using endoscope attachments has the myome drilled by a spiral bit to produce an 18 mm diameter duct through the myome. A micro cutter is inserted into the duct to cut manageable pieces for removal through the endoscope, either via remote grabs or by flushing. The cutter has four adjustable blades. The drill bit and cutter are powered by a low voltage motor, e.g. 12V.</p> |
