The device has an actuator with a cylinder (8) and a pyrotechnic load coupled to a cylindrical chamber of the cylinder. A piston (12) of the cylinder is coupled to a rod and slides in the chamber. Drillings (16) in the piston communicate with two portions (10, 11) of the chamber. The rod includes a thick portion (13) and a thin portion (14) that have a section larger than one of the portions of the chamber in which the load extends.
