A toolbox which is characterized by a barrel type rolling mechanism which is segregated into four to six separate compartments. The barrel type rolling mechanism will be used instead of a tool tray, which is common in most conventional toolboxes. The barrel type rolling mechanism can be lifted in and out of the toolbox. The barrel type rolling mechanism has two boss type axils which are molded to the round ends of the barrel type mechanism. These boss type axils are placed in to two female receptacles which are molded into the inside of the end panels at each end of the toolbo x. The barrel type rolling mechanism will have a handle at one of the round ends and will be able to be carried and used as a portable device to carry its contents when the barrel type rolling mechanism is not inserted into the toolbox.
