<p>The stand pillors are pre-stressed by built-in pieces on either side of the slots for mounting the working and support rolls which can be adjusted by pairs of mechanicals spindles and/or hydraulic pressure cylinders with pressure props interposed, the mechanical and hydraulic adjusting fixtures acting in series so that the rolling force changes are conducted via a built-in piece and a force measuring support pair which surrounds another built-in piece by means of a yoke connecting the two, into the adjusting spindle which supports the hydraulic pressure cylinder the force of which is transmitted to the other built-in piece.</p> |
