DRIP EDGE AND FASCIA SYSTEM

A drip edge and fascia system according to the invention comprises a drip ed ge adapted to be nailed to the roof, and a fascia cover mounting bracket adapte d to be nailed to an adjacent fascia board. A fascia cover is snap fit to the fascia cover mounting bracket, but remains slidable relative to the fascia cover mounting bracket so that it will not buckle with temperature changes. All components can be formed of the sam e material as conventional siding, e.g., extruded vinyl with matching color.
