APPARATUS FOR TREATING A DRAINAGE CONTAINING ORGANIC SULFUR COMPOUNDS

To obtain water to be treated having an excellent water quality by reducing a generated order and also carrying out stable treatment by simple equipment when organic sulfur compound-containing drainage is treated by an apparatus placing two aerobic bio-reactors or more in series. Two or more aerobic bio-reactors 1 to 4 are connected in series and the organic sulfur compound-containing drainage isdistributed into two or more aeration tanks 1 to 4. Since BOD loads per reactor to be distributed are reduced by distributing the organic sulfur compound-containing drainage, an oxygen demand per reactor is reduced and a state of oxygen deficiency can easily be prevented even if a special aerator is not used. Accordingly, the odor caused by generating DMS and MM is reduced by providing a reducingatmosphere due to an oxygen shortage.
