<p>A process for producing a resin composition, in which a polyester resin composition excelling in mechanical properties can be produced at low cost; and a resin composition produced thereby. A raw composition comprising a polyester resin, a polyolefin resin and a compatibilizer is kneaded in the presence of water. The kneading may be performed after mixing the above components into a raw composition, or alternatively the components may be mixed together into the raw composition while kneading. According to necessity, the raw composition may contain additives, such as components derived from plant tissues and an inorganic filler. Further, according to necessity, it is preferred that during the kneading step, the kneading be performed while adding at least one of the raw composition components other than water to the raw composition.</p> |
