FIELD: machine engineering, possibly working parts of non-magnetic materials by cutting. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing part onto magnetic table between adjacent different-sign magnetic poles. The last are arranged at pitch in direction of cutting force action being no less than size of supporting surface for worked part; supplying onto surface of magnetic table in mounting place of part rheological ferromagnetic liquid by continuous layer achieving thickness value of part; simultaneously moving part on table and adjusting magnetic field through magnetic poles till creating part braking force; detecting place of maximum resistance against part motion and fixing part in such place; then creating maximum intensity of magnetic field in order to fasten part. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fixing non-magnetic parts on magnetic table at working part in stabilized position in spite of action of cutting efforts. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
