FIELD: sea ferries for transportation of river ships. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed sea ferry is made in form of catamaran ship at varying draft which is provided with propellers connected with electric motors by means of shafts; electric motors are powered from electric generators which are connected in their turn with heat engines. Hulls of ferry are interconnected by means of variable-incidence hydrofoil axles for correcting the list and trim; provision is made with two-tier bridge. Mounted on first tier of this bridge are swivel struts on which electric generators are secured together with propellers mounted on rotor axles. Mounted on second tier of ferry in its fore and aft sections are swivel platforms with rolled sails and hoisting cranes for unfolding and holding the sails in wind. Located in center section of ferry on the second tier are trunks where telescopic masts are mounted; each member of telescopic mast is provided with hoisting and swiveling mechanisms. Secured on side surface of each member symmetrically relative to central axis of mast are two pairs of yards; each pair of yards is provided with mechanisms for turning them to vertical and horizontal positions. First yard of each yard pair is provided with mechanism for unfolding the rolled sails and second yard is provided with mechanism for folding the bolt-ropes sewed on the edges of sail. ^ EFFECT: possibility of using motion of air masses for transportation of river ships in sea. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
